OUR INDUSTRY FOCUS

RLG is different from a majority of law firms that provide services ranging from family law to criminal defense matters. RLG purposely limits its practice to certain areas (contracts, litigation, and appeals) with an emphasis on representing clients in the construction, architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, environmental, energy, insurance and real estate industries.

RLG has experience drafting custom construction contracts for large and complex construction projects as well as the negotiation of terms and provisions of industry standard form contract documents — including the AIA, EJCDC and ConsensusDOCS and DBIA forms.

RLG counsels clients throughout the construction process and assists clients in identifying and managing risks and potential claims.  RLG also provides its clients with services that assist them in completing successful projects and resolving disputes before they reach claim status. RLG can also provide owners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, financial institutions, sureties and insurance companies with dispute resolution services in mediation, arbitration and litigation.

"I enjoy using my background as an architect to help others"

Theresa Ringle

RLG is unique in comparison to most law firms.

Theresa Ringle began her career as a litigator and construction lawyer after working as an architect for one of Indiana’s largest architecture/engineering firms. Theresa regularly uses the practical experience she gained working as an architect career to provide effective construction law solutions for clients of all descriptions, including private owners, public entities, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, as well as architects and engineers.

AIM HIGH FOR YOUR BUSINESS

“The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.”

Michelangelo (Italian sculptor, painter, architect & poet, considered the creator of the Renaissance, 1475-1564)
