LITIGATION & TRIALS

RLG advises clients in matters ranging from pre-litigation strategy to the decision of when to try cases, and how. RLG also represents clients in civil litigation matters, including bench and jury trials, and continued litigation on appeal. Civil litigation does not include criminal matters. Civil litigation is a term that has a very broad scope. It basically means that two or more people or entities have a legal dispute between themselves that requires a resolution of some sort. One party or both, may claim that they are owed money from the other. Alternatively, a party may desire injunctive relief — a court order preventing the other side from doing something. Sometimes the parties may also demand equitable relief, which involves having a judge decide a matter in a manner that does not involve the award of damages.  RLG’s goal is to provide all civil litigation clients with the utmost competent representation while seeking to provide just results that resolve the matter in the most expedient and economical fashion.

RLG represents clients in actions pending in Indiana state trial courts and federal district courts. RLG also represents clients in appellate litigation pending before the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit.

RLG is also available to represent clients in mediation and arbitration. In fact, RLG's founder and CEO also serves as an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.
